I'm trying to initiate a group call. Mac version seems to allow you to create a 'list' which I will use on a weekly basis to initiate a call to that list. But I can't find anyway to simply contact that list in a group call. It seems like I need to go go File, click on 'new conversation', then add all individuals one by one to this new conversation.
Very cumbersome. Anyone know how to simply contact everyone in a 'list' simultaneously? 2nd question - can someone who I didn't call initially still call into me and be added to our group conversation in process? Do I have to find some kind of 'share screen' button to add them, or are they automatically added to the ongoing call if they call me, and I accept?
Thanks so much!!! Hi Dre, Creating a list on Skype is only to organize the contacts and only contacts within that list will be displayed. You will still need to highlight all of the contacts you want to have a group video / voice call and then right-click then click call to start a group call or you can just create a group chat on Skype so you can just simply click the video icon for group video calling.
Also, if someone calls you while you’re on a group video / voice call, you will have an option to add them to your ongoing group call. You'll see an incoming call notification screen, click the + add incoming call button. Hope this information helps. Feel free to reply for other concerns.
